We formed our team and begin to discuss potential projects, deciding on a piano playing machine. We began to work and created a four bar linkage system that could switch rhythms and strike the piano keys with enough pressure to play.
We used this sprint to begin working with a gantry system for a single moving finger, to distinguish ourselves from previous projects in our class. While waiting for parts, we also devoted time to addressing and aiding our health and compatibility as a team.
In this sprint, we completed integrating our two motors and the gantry system to play a song. We then worked on refining the system, and looked ahead to possibly integrating a second finger as well.
We implented a second "finger" system with a new design to increase our aesthetic. We also incorporated a user interface, and a variety of songs to choose from.
