Introduction
to Sound Synthesizers

A description of sound synthesizers and the characteristics we chose to implement in our system.

MECHANICAL:
Note Control & Enclosure

We use information from a keyboard, ADSR sliders, and a tuning fork to choose the note and timbre.

CODE: Information Interpretation

Our Arduino collects the note information in MIDI format and decides the appropriate control voltages to output.

ELECTRICAL: Analog Circuit Design

We create an output sound signal based on the control voltages using multiple integrated circuits.
