Deniz Celik
Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering: Class of 2017
Majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Deniz Celik is a sophomore at Olin College with a passion for software and electronics. Eager to get deeply involved with the electronic mind controlling the HennaBot, he took on the task of designing and building the electrical portion of the machine along with writing the firmware for the Arduino. When not spending time debugging his POE circuits, Deniz enjoys writing code, reading books and working out.

Jennifer Vaccaro
Olin College of Engineering: Class of 2017
Majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Jennifer joined this team because the careful motion of drawing and lifting henna fascinates her.
Because her strengths tend towards theoretical mathematics, she used this project to delve deeper into the "do-learn" mantra of Olin College. She worked primarily on the integrated mechanical, electrical, and software of the henna extrusion and Z axis.

Mafalda Borges
Olin College of Engineering: Class of 2017
Majoring in Engineering: Robotics

Mafalda came onto the team to work on the gantry and mechanical components. She enjoys abstract mathematics and systems, and wanted to focus on the mechanical design and integration of the HennaBot. Mafalda also takes interest in graphic design, and all things that fly (airplanes, jets, rockets…).

Shivali (Kiki) Chandra
Olin College of Engineering: Class of 2017
Majoring in Engineering: Robotics with Design

Shivali is a student at Olin College majoring in Engineering: Robotics with a focus on programming and mechanical design. She has had extensive experience in robotics through FIRST (seven years participating, five mentoring) and is excited to learn more through her time at Olin. Through HennaBot, she is working on the overall mechanical design and gantry system in order to better understand how to build and iterate a mechanically sound structure.

Subhash Gubba
Olin College of Engineering: Class of 2017
Majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Subhash enjoys Indian culture, and proposed the idea of having a henna design printer which could interface with software. This idea eventually became HennaBot. He has been primarily working on the software and electrical portions of this project. When he's not working on POE, Subhash interests include Machine Learning, Music, and Popcorn.
